Sky+ is new service for Sky Digital Viewers to improve their viewing experience. In short,

Sky + is a digital video recorder with a built in satellite receiver, giving the Sky TV viewer unrivalled opportunities to control their viewing habits. By using Sky+, viewers are able to store the programmes that you want to watch and then play them back in any order whenever you want. When you are watching live TV, Sky + allows you to pause and even rewind the show you are watching and then immediately commence watching it again without interruption and without missing any of the action.
